    My collection, The Boughs Withered (When I Told Them My Dreams), published by NewCon Press, has been nominated for Best Collection in the British Fantasy Society's British Fantasy Awards 2020.

  • New collection from NewCon Press

    NewCon Press in the UK will be publishing the first collection of my original short stories. It will contain a mixture of previously published work along with new stories, with an introduction by Kim Newman. The collection is called The Boughs Withered (When I Told Them my Dreams), and is scheduled to be launched at Worldcon in Dublin in August 2019.

  • Ten Tall Tales

    I’m happy to say that my dark fantasy story ‘The Fruit of the Tree’ will be in the Ten Tall Tales anthology from NewCon Press, edited by Ian Whates. You can pre-order it online now.   • A story in Obsidian

    In 2016 NewCon Press celebrates its 10th anniversary, and to mark that achievement it’s releasing a number of publications next year, including an eBook-only retrospective anthology of horror short fiction written by women that NewCon published during its first decade.     Today I received 150 signing sheets for the forthcoming anthology La Femme, in which my story ‘Valerie’ is appearing. That’s just half the contributors. The entire Table of Contents is: Frances Hardinge, Storm Constantine, Ruth EJ Booth, Andrew Hook, Stewart Hotston, Holly Ice, Adele Kirby, Maura McHugh, Jonathan Oliver, Stephen Palmer, John Llewellyn Probert, and Benjanun Sriduangkaew.
