2000AD Talent Search 2021

What a pleasure to be part of the 2000 AD Thought Bubble Festival scriptwriting talent search judging panel this year, along with Ram V and Oliver Pickles.

Hats off to the finalists for writing their pitches for the 4-page ‘Future Shocks’ slot, videoing themselves and submitting their stories to the competition – all of that takes time and nerve, and I salute anyone who runs this gauntlet.

A big congratulations to the winner, Honor Vincent, for her fun script, which was well described and fits the 2000 AD ‘Future Shocks’ brief – not an easy task, which is why this competition is such a good selection process for talent.
