Written in the Stars

Poetry Ireland‘s terrific annual event, Poetry Day Ireland, is taking place today with events happening all over the country, and virtually!

The theme this year is ‘Written in the Stars’, which suits me very well.

I’ll be reading a couple of poems, alongside other local poets, at an event in the Town Hall in Gort at 7pm known as ‘Inside Under the Stars’.

This is being sponsored by a trio of local arts groups: the Iontach Creative Collective, Poetry in the Park, and the Wild Swans Theatre Company.

It’s free, so come along and be dazzled.
