Psyche

I’ve been quiet about this project for a long time since I like to have everything squared away before I announce details, but I’m super pleased to announce that I’ve written a novella for Rebellion Publishing’s Judges series.

It’s called Psyche, and it details the genesis of what will eventually become Psi-Division in the 2000 AD universe.

It’s available for pre-order now, and will be shipping on 15 January 2020.

Here’s the blurb:

Washington DC, 2044: Phoebe Wise has always known she was different; she joined the Judge programme to get away from all that. But the Department has other ideas. Radical, outrageous ideas.

Mega-City One, 2141: Pam Reed is the best pre-cog Psi-Div has, rushed to a crumbling block in one of the oldest sectors of the Meg to dig through files thought long-lost.

And something has reached across the decades to bring the two Judges together, and protect a future that almost never was.

You can buy the novella as a limited edition paperback (there are only 200 copies) which are all signed by me or as an ebook.

Huge thanks to Michael Carroll, who is the series editor of the Judges novellas, who was incredibly helpful, and to Rebellion Publishing’s Fiction Commissioning Editor, David Thomas Moore, and Editor, Kate Coe, for their support and assistance.

And florix grabundae to cover artist Neil Roberts for his terrific artwork!

As always, when going through the process of assembling a book like this I become acutely aware of how much it benefits from working with a great team.

I’m so grateful for all their input and care: thank you all!
