Witchfinder Omnibus Volume 1
Dark Horse has released the Witchfinder Omnibus, Volume 1, which collects Sir Edward Grey: Witchfinder volumes 1-3, along with an extensive sketchbook section.
‘When the man called the Witchfinder becomes an agent of the Queen, he is led from the sparkling echelons of Victorian London to its dark underbelly, through the American West, and to explore the mysteries of Unland! Throughout his adventures, he’ll face occult conspiracies, rampaging monsters, and London’s most infamous secret society: the Heliopic Brotherhood of Ra!’
This Omnibus contains the five-issue Sir Edward Grey: Witchfinder story I co-wrote with Kim Newman (Volume 3: The Mysteries of Unland), with art by Tyler Crook, coloured by Dave Stewart, lettered by Clem Robins which is set in the Hellboy universe created by Mike Mignola. The covers for the original five-issue run were drawn by Julian Totino Tedesco.
This Omnibus edition features a gorgeous cover drawn by Mike.
Here’s the list of everyone involved in the Omnibus:
Writers: Mike Mignola, John Arcudi, Maura McHugh, Kim Newman
Artists: Ben Stenbeck, Tyler Crook, John Severin
Colourist: Dave Stewart
It’s hardback, 440-page beauty, and a perfect choice of present during this holiday season for your comic book friends or relatives (or a sneaky gift to yourself).
