Thu, 28 October 2010 Year’s Best Dark Fantasy and Horror 2010

Year's Best Dark Fantasy & Horror 2010World Fantasy Convention is happening this weekend in the USA, and in conjunction with that event I’ve received word from editor Paula Guran that Year’s Best Dark Fantasy and Horror 2010 is now available.

Here is the Table of Contents:

I’m somewhat stunned to among this list of writers, some of whom have been very influential on establishing my love of the genre. Thanks again to Andy Cox at Black Static for publishing ‘Vic’ last year, and to Paula for believing ‘Vic’ was worthy for inclusion.

Plus, on the back of yesterday’s blog post about women’s contribution to horror anthologies, it’s brilliant to see such a high percentage of women writers selected for this Year’s Best anthology.

I’m looking forward to receiving my contributor’s copies so I can read these stories. If any of you would like to buy the book you can do so at Amazon.com. It weighs in at 544 pages so you’ll certainly be getting value for money.
