Story & interview in Phantasmagoria Magazine
I have recovered from my trip to Eastercon in Belfast and have taken the time to examine my contributor copy of issue #26 of Phantasmagoria magazine. Thanks to Belfast-based editor Trevor Kennedy for all the work he and his team put into producing two versions of the magazine, and the fun launch with fellow authors at Forbidden Planet and at Eastercon itself. It was terrific to meet some of the contributors who are new to me, and catch up with several old mates.
Alison Weir interviewed me for the magazine, and my thanks to her for the thoughtful questions. My short story, ‘The Boughs Withered (When I Told Them My Dreams)’, which is also the title story from my collection—nominated for a British Fantasy Award—is reprinted in this hefty journal.
This edition has a special emphasis on Irish themes, and comes with two covers by the legendary Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick.

And the alternative cover here (available via Amazon):
They are splendid: chock-full of stories, interviews, articles and fabulous art work, making them beautiful and enjoyable to read.
Do pick up a copy, or both, if you can’t choose between the covers!
