At Sitges Film Festival 2023

I am attending the Sitges Film Festival (Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya) from 5-15 October as a juror for the Méliès d’Argent Award, along with fellow jurors Matthew Turner (journalist, author and podcaster) and Alexandra West (film critic and podcaster).

I’ll be watching approximately 22 feature films and 9 short films, along with other movies/documentaries that catch my eye when I have a gap in my schedule. This is a much heavier workload than last year, when I was on the Méliès d’Argent Award jury at the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival last November in Italy.
