The 70s & 80s Horror Mixtape

Mark West has put together another Horror Mixtape, and this time writers got to choose from short stories published in the 1970s and 1980s.

I picked ‘In The Squalus’ by Kit Reed, which was originally published in 1972 in The Transatlantic Review.

I’d recommend Kit’s wonderful collection, The Story Until Now: A Great Big Book of Stories, which contains this story and features an excellent selection of her work across her fine career.
