I just said ‘Congratulations’ to you a second ago, and also wanted to say that I really enjoyed your entry today… I can’t help but be amused. I’ve seen the flooded photos of your Irish countryside, and I have a lovely little canoe here for you, if it would handy …. shame about the distance from Oz to Eire!
Thanks Coastal Aussie, but yes, it’s a long way to go for a canoe. I live in the countryside and the flooding in the West of Ireland is the worst I’ve seen in a very long time. One road to my house is completely impassable. Thankfully I have alternative routes, but they are not as direct and thus frustrating. At least it’s not raining at the moment, but the blanket cloud cover is gloomy. It never seems to be day at the moment, just a continuous twilight until nightfall.
