Surgery is complete.

The patient (my treatment) now has a new heart and lungs and is resting comfortably.

More work is required, but at this point I’m happy enough with the story as it is laid out. I plan to proceed with the script in the coming days.

It was an arduous task. I thought I was going to lose the patient for a while, but managed to finish surgery in the wee hours of this morning.

I’m taking the rest of the evening off. I may consider starting the script tomorrow. If not I will embark upon it this weekend.
