comments without spam
Any of you with a blog or journal will be aware of the increasing problem with comment spam. Thankfully the system I use here, bblog, allows me to decrease the spam I get, and allows me to nip it in the bud easily. I resent getting it, however.
Martin has added a smart method for comment verification, called a captcha (completely automated public Turing test to tell computers and humans apart). This means that you’ll have to complete a little test to prove that you’ve not a robotic spammer who wants to use my blog for evil marketing purposes.
I don’t get loads of comments on this blog anyway, but I hope you’ll find the system relatively painless. Hopefully it won’t prevent “real” readers from commenting if they so desire.
